Caring Connections Training
Sunday, August 30
11:15 a.m.
Room 212
Health and Wellness is launching a new program called Caring Connections that begins Sunday, Sept. 13. Once a month a group of volunteers will meet briefly between services for a devotion and to pick up names to visit during the month. On Sunday August 30, at 11:15, over a light lunch, Rosie Roose will introduce and train those who are interested in volunteering their time to visit and enjoy those who would like a social call to brighten their day. If you are interested in either volunteering to make visits or in receiving a visit contact Sheila at 630.968.7120 or e-mail her at sheila@dgfumc.org.
