Get Messy!

Get Messy!Get Messy! It is sometimes difficult to have children attend church. They don’t like to sit still or be quiet or just listen. Frankly, I don’t blame them. I want children to be who they are…active, creative, and lively!

Get Messy will be an opportunity for children along with their families do just that. It will be the second Sunday of the month starting in January 2014 from 11:00 AM to about 12:30 PM. There will be a time to make crafts as a family, a short (and lively) time of gathering, and a family friendly lunch. You don’t need to have ever gone to church or know anything about church. This time will be about building community along with thinking about that greater power that is creator and love of all.

Don’t worry about getting messy, or being too loud, or squirming too much…just come and have fun with your family!   Everyone is welcome at Get Messy!

Pride in the Park 'n Lot

Join us in the North parking lot and at Fishel Park for Pride in the Park 'n Lot on Sunday, June 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This family-friendly event includes crafts, storytelling, a pet costume contest, a food truck, and so much more! Messy Church members are invited to join in the fun.

Be sure to bring something to tie dye if you'd like. Also, we will have a gender-affirming clothing swap. If you have clothing in good shape that you'd like to let go of, we'll take it! Feel free to stop by and "shop" as well!

Messy Church - August 8, 2021

Hello Messy Friends,

This Sunday, August 8, is HAT DAY at Messy Church.  Everyone is invited to wear any hat they want...a silly hat, a serious hat, a hat with a story, a special hat, etc.   Our story and crafts for the day will focus on all the hats we wear.

Please come to the gym at 11:00 AM for Messy Church.  We will start with a story and short worship then move into our craft time.  There will be no lunch served.

Hope to see you at Messy with your hat on.  Also, we will be inside with children, so I ask that everyone wear a face mask.

Thanks and see you at Messy!

Pastor John
