Get Messy!

Get Messy!Get Messy! It is sometimes difficult to have children attend church. They don’t like to sit still or be quiet or just listen. Frankly, I don’t blame them. I want children to be who they are…active, creative, and lively!

Get Messy will be an opportunity for children along with their families do just that. It will be the second Sunday of the month starting in January 2014 from 11:00 AM to about 12:30 PM. There will be a time to make crafts as a family, a short (and lively) time of gathering, and a family friendly lunch. You don’t need to have ever gone to church or know anything about church. This time will be about building community along with thinking about that greater power that is creator and love of all.

Don’t worry about getting messy, or being too loud, or squirming too much…just come and have fun with your family!   Everyone is welcome at Get Messy!

Easter Messy Church

Happy Easter Messy Church! We may not be able to be together at church this second Sunday for Messy Church but we can still get messy in our own homes!. Enjoy our first ever virtual Messy Church. God's love and peace to you and your family!

Rally Day Celebration

Make plans to join us on Rally Day as we kick-off our new year and celebrate our coming season of educational and musical ministries as a congregation on Sunday, September 9! We'll kick off our new year of Sunday School and prepare for the coming season.

Please note that our 8:15 a.m. worship service will resume in the Chapel on this day. We will continue with our Together @ 10 worship service at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. There will be no Sunday School this day as families are encouraged to worship together. Messy Church will also be held this day starting at 11:00 a.m. All are invited to join in a family friendly worship time with crafts and lunch.

We will continue our fellowship after services as the Children & Family Work Area has reserved the Tivoli Movie Theater for our Rally Day celebration. Everyone is invited to join us for the movie Dolphin Tale, a true story, which will be shown at 1:30 p.m.

Join us and invite your neighbors and friends to church in the morning and the free movie in the afternoon!
