2015 Tour - Day 4

Today our host families drove us back to their church at 7:30am in order for our group to gather up. After talking about the day's scripture and reading the day's letter from previous seniors on tour, we started the drive toward the zip lining course& conuing/kayaking place. A good portion of the group went zip lining, but also another went kayaking/conuing instead. The zip lining course reached over 60ft high at times, and the grand finale line was a good 900feet long. Everybody seemed to love the three hours of zipping over the beautiful woods, and a clear river at the end! Our instructors who guided us along the course were some of the friendliest people and shared some of the coolest stories, especially about the nature around us. The other group that went canoeing and kayaking seemed to have a ton of fun also, and definitely got their tan on under the afternoon sun!

However, the activity did seem to go an hour longer than planned, so we had to post pone the beach for the next day. Instead, we walked around downtown, ate ice cream, and admired the ocean by where many boats were docked ( we got plenty of pictures with the ocean in the backround and some nice boats, don't worry). Finally, at about 6o'clock we headed to our mystery dinner! The theme of the night's mystery was "Mariachi Mystique", and was probably one of the craziest and funniest things any of us have ever seen. Nobody really was sure what we were in for, and the night definitely consisted of laughs the entire time. During some of the skits, people in the choir got to go up and dance with the "Maraiachi Band", beat up a piñata, oh and we can't forget the newly famous Andy who starred as "Rusty" in the mystery. Overall, the day consisted of tons of adventure and ended with a night of a good dinner, mystery, and of course lots of laughs.
