The 41st Annual Chapel Choir Spring Break Tour will take place March 24-31, with New York City as the destination. The title of this year’s musical mission trip, “Outside My Own Little World,” will feature music about faith, hope, compassion and those around us who are less fortunate. A total of 41 youth and seven adults will participate.
Directed by Chad Goetz and accompanied by Bobbi Mielcarski, the choir will have the unique opportunity to perform at and tour the United Nations headquarters while in New York City. They will also ride the Staten Island Ferry, visit the 9/11 Memorial, attend a Broadway show, take a Behind the Scenes tour of NBC Studios and do other sightseeing.
They will present a pre-tour concert on Sunday, March 18 at First Church of the Nazarene in Lemont at 7:00 p.m. and two home concerts on Sunday, April 1 at 4:00 and 7:00 p.m.
The Chapel Choir is very appreciative of the continued support provided by members of this church.
