Sponsor a Chapel Choir Tour Bus Seat Today!

The 49th Annual Chapel Choir Tour will take place March 23 - 30 to Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. You can help choir members cover some tour expenses by Sponsoring a Bus Seat for $25. The cost of transportation is one of the largest line items in the tour budget, so offsetting  some of the cost through seat sponsorships helps reduce the individual tour fee for choir members.

You can direct your sponsorship to a particular student or have it applied to
the tour fund. Please complete the form below and drop it off in the church office. Make checks payable to DGFUMC and write ‘Bus Seat Sponsorship’ on the memo line.

Thank you for your support!

Youth Event: Ice Skating at Maggie Daley Park

Open Gym

Join us for skating on the ribbon at Maggie Daley Park or exploring the park!

We will meet at the Open Door youth room at 12:15 p.m. Our train departs at 12:45 p.m. Youth should definitely dress warmly as we will be walking about a mile from Union Station to the park and walking from DGFUMC to the train station and back and the skating ribbon is all outdoors! It will be a cold day, so dress warmly. There are warming centers near the skating ribbon.

Those who would like to skate on the ribbon can bring their own skates or rent a pair at the skating park (see fees for rental below). For those who do not want to skate, Pastor Anna will lead a group to explore the park.

We will eat fast food downtown (Potbelly or Chipotle) and return on the 6:40 p.m. train to Downers Grove. Pick up will be at 7:35 p.m. at the Open Door youth room entrance.

Chaperones are needed for this event; if you are interested, please let Deacon Wes know.
