Join Pastor John this Sunday, May 14 at 11:00 a.m. for Messy Church! Offered every second Sunday of the month, Messy Church is for families with young children to provide a time to celebrate our children and let them be active, creative, and lively! See you in the Gym!
This morning's Sunday Worship will be a special performance of Jubilate Deo. Directed by Diane Hires, the choir will join with a 20-piece guest orchestra to present this illuminating work. Family and friends are welcome to join us for this musical offering sure to uplift our spirits!
Join us as our children's choirs come together to present their cantata, The Agape League during the 10:00 a.m. worship service. Presented by the Cherub, Chorister, and Connection Choirs, the story brings together the high-voltage zap, pow, and zowee fun of the superhero genre with the life-changing truth of God's word and the fruit of the spirit as taught in Galatians 5:22-23 - "But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control..."

This service of hymns, prayers, scripture readings and a sermon is held in the Sanctuary, with music to celebrate Easter by the Chancel Choir and Brass Ensemble. All children from Kindergarten through 6th grade start in the Sanctuary for worship. After the Moment for Children, children may return to their families for worship or go with Pastor John to Sunday School. All 1st-3rd graders need to be signed-in on the sheets located just outside the sanctuary. Children may be picked up in rooms 212-218 following the service.
During this solemn Tenebrae Service, the Chancel Choir sings reflective, somber anthems, the lights dim and candles are extinguished as the last words of Christ are read and His death is imminent. The service ends in silence and darkness.
At this Maundy Thursday service we commemorate the Last Supper when Jesus shared the Passover meal with his disciples on the night before he was crucified.
