Living Easter!

Just as I expected, the music from last Sunday's Easter services echoed in my mind throughout the week - reminding me of the gift of Christ's resurrection even in the midst of the more ordinary days of the week.

Easter, of course, is much more than just one day - it is reality that changes how we live the other 364 (or, in the case of 2016, 365) days of the year.

We'll be reflecting on that in worship this Sunday, April 3, as we hear the story from John 20:19-23, in which the Risen Jesus equips his followers, on Easter night, with the gifts of relationship with him that will guide them into the future - presence and peace, empowerment and loving purpose. Living Easter is this Sunday morning's focus.

We'll be blessed by the music of the Chapel Choir - just back from their Testify to Love tour! -- at the 9:30 service; and by the music of the Chancel Choir at 11:00.  And we'll celebrate Christ's presence with us as we share in Holy Communion at all three services.

And I can't wait to come back to the sanctuary at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, for the Chapel Choir Tour Home Concert - Testify to Love!
