Lent: Day 3
Lord I Am An Instrument Through Which Your Blessings Flow
Lord I struggle every day. This is why I pray.
I come to you so I can see, how to become a better me.
You light up my life, you take away the strife.
You teach me right and wrong and fill my soul with song.
I say a prayer to see me through.
Eternity comes only through you.
It’s in what I say and what I do, that ultimately glorifies you.
It’s my heart, soul and mind that reflects the kind of man I seek to be.
Lord, I struggled less today, because you light my way.
Let me be the instrument, let me be the vessel from which all good things flow.
Guide my hand and guide my voice whatever I do and say through you will be my choice.
I can make a difference I know, if I stay close and keep you in tow.
I can’t do it alone each day, but with you I can...I pray.
I will live and learn and my heart will burn, to do more each day, to give more each day, and not settle for less, but give my very best.
Then at the end of the day, I can say with joy,
“I gave my all today.”
And this instrument will sing All is well with my soul.
