We are looking forward to welcoming our new Bishop, Sally Dyck, and leaders from the Northern Illinois Conference for the Aurora District Leadership Training Day, to be held at our church on Saturday, February 16, from 9:30am to 1:00pm. All members of churches within the Aurora District are welcome to attend; please register using the form below.

Led by a member of the conference Board of Trustees
Learn about best practices and the most current resources for helping trustees take care of the 2 major assets of any congregation: the church and the parsonage. Churches will learn about conference insurance benefits and how to access help from the conference with large mortgages. All members of the trustees and lay members of Annual Conference are encouraged to attend.

Learn about Church communications and the building and maintaining of an effective and simple web site. Web sites are the number one way that people look for churches today. The Yellow Pages are "Old School". How does your web site look? Is it up to date? Tips for using social media will also be offered. Bring your laptop.

How can you make our witness stronger and our discipleship deeper? What conference resources are available to help congregations measure vitality and strategize for change? Administrative Board personnel, pastors, lay leaders and vision team members are invited to share what they have learned and their best practices.
