Friday Night at the Movies

Please note that due to a conflict, we have moved the January movie from the 3rd Friday to the 4th Friday of the month.

Stan and Maria Clements will present Water for Elephants, a 2011 romantic drama starring Reese Witherspoon, Christopher Waltz and Robert Pattinson. Set in the 1930's, the film tells the story of Jacob Jankowski (Pattinson), a veterinary student whose life changes dramatically when his parents are tragically killed. Dropping out of school due to financial problems, Jacob hops a circus train, meets beautiful performer Marlene(Witherspoon), her cruel husband, circus owner August(Waltz), and Rosie the elephant, and becomes the circus vet. Based on the 2006 book of the same name, by Sara Gruen, this compelling film combines elements of compassion, cruelty, and forbidden love that will capture your interest and ultimately your heart.
