Special Movie Event

The Adult Education Work Area invites you to a viewing and discussion of The Hate U Give, a 2018 film based on the novel of the same name by Angie Thomas. This is the book that was featured in our All Church Read this past spring. 

The Hate U Give is about a teen who witnesses the fatal shooting of her childhood friend by a trigger-happy cop and then must decide whether to testify or not. 

Discussion will be led by film expert and church member, Sue Thornquist. The movie will be show in the home theater of Don and Caryl Safford. Sign up soon by phone, email, or in person in the church office, seating is limited.
