Confirmation 2.0 on Zoom: Conferences

Our congregation is part of the United Methodist Church. Like every other denomination, we have some shared beliefs, expectations, and practices. The United Methodist Church prides itself on "connectionalism" and the ways that we are connected across space to one another. Conferences are some of the ways in which we stay connected. There are many conferences - charge conferences, annual conferences, jurisdictional conferences, and general conferences. What happens at each of these conferences and who's allowed to participate?
