Choosing our government and governing our choices

Hello! I hope everyone's summer is going well. This Sunday I will be talking about choosing our government and governing our choices.  Happiness and meaning are not things to pursue. If you have ever tried to be happy or have a meaningful conversation, you know that these twins are seldom available to command from ourselves or the situation.

Rather happiness and meaning often surprise us, when we are doing other things. They grasp your life and happen to you when you are doing companionship and trust, creativity and beauty, love and joy, when you are living toward the environment in sustainable ways and when we celebrate differences with that underneath connection we call harmony, and find the words to sing Glory Glory Hallelujah His Truth is Marching On.

Maybe meaning is hiding up in the choir loft and is out to "getcha." Maybe happiness is aloft in the air handlers ready to surround you. Join us on this Special weekend as we celebrate the 4th of the July.
