Rally Day Weekend!
Celebrate Rally Day Weekend!
Rally Day weekend begins with Outdoor Movie NIght on Saturday, September 11 at 7:30 p.m. Join everyone in the north parking lot of the church for an outdoor movie. We will be showing The Odd Life of Timothy Green, an inspiring, magical story for the whole family. Cindy (played by Jennifer Garner) and Jim Green are a happily married couple who can't wait to start a family but can only dream about what their child would be like. When young Timothy shows up on their doorstep one stormy night, Cindy and Jim – and their small town of Stanleyville – learn that sometimes the unexpected can bring some of life's greatest gifts. Bring a chair and a snack and we’ll see you at the movie!
Join us on Rally Day Sunday on Sunday, September 12 as we kick-off our new year and celebrate the coming season as a congregation. We will start with worship at 8:15 a.m. in the Chapel or 10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary or online
After our 10:00 a.m. worship service, we will continue our celebration with Rally Day Activities and Lunch in Fishel Park. Everyone is invited to attend an All Church event Jimmy John's delivery, games, crafts, fellowship, and more from 11:00 to 12:30 p.m.
We will be ordering Jimmy John's for lunch, but we need your order in advance. Please fill out this Google form if you would like to order Jimmy John's (or you may call the church office). You may pay for your lunch on September 12 at the picnic; cost is $8 a person. You could also bring your own picnic lunch. Water and lemonade will be provided.
Those coming to Messy Church are invited to join the celebration at any time! We will all be messy together.
Bring your friends and neighbors, a lawn chair, blanket, and join us for outdoor fellowship. All are welcome!
In case of rain, Rally Day worship at 10:00 a.m. will be held in the Sanctuary and the All Church Activities with games, crafts, and fellowship will be held in the church gym.
