Godspell

Sunday, December 4 at 10:00 a.m.

The Chancel Choir is excited to present a concert version of Godspell in which a group of diverse clowns becomes followers of Jesus aided by his assistant, John the Baptist/Judas.

This playful community of believers is featured in joyous songs, accompanied by a five-piece rock band. Their journey with Jesus leads us through The Last Supper to the Crucifixion. The musical celebrates its 51st anniversary this year and is going strong with the 2011 Broadway revision.

Children’s Choirs will join the cast for the popular favorite, Day By Day. The production is led by Diane Hires, Director, and Pattie Barnes, Accompanist.

Invite friends and family to share the joy of Godspell, sure to lift spirits and warm hearts for the Advent season!
